Can't get with it....

That fact that I’ve felt like I’ve been hit by a bus these past 4 days isn’t helping any. But right now, I feel like me and everything in my life is just one big mess right now. I feel like I just can’t get with it. All I want to do is curl up in a ball and go to bed. What is this all about???? It's getting a bit annoying!!!

I HATE ACNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess the 100mg of Clomid is going to town on my hormones, because I’ve had the worst Acne breakout these past two weeks. GOOD LORD!!! I’ve not had this much problems with Acne since I was a teenager. I have pimples everywhere! Guess this is what I get for trying to get my hormones in check. Pimples...pimples... and more pimples...My face looks like a damn pepperoni pizza! UGH!!!!!

Hummm… guess I should check to see if why I’m not feeling so hot is related to the Clomid too… off to go Google! Eventually I'll get some work done today. Feeling like crap = no motivation to do ANYTHING these past two days. WTF!!!!

To My Suprise

Alexis and Chris stopped by on their way to have Thanksgiving with her parents. Alexis is Greg's Cousin. Alexis and Chris got engaged in October and are in the beginning stages of plain their big day. We don't get to see them often because they live in New Jersey and we don't get to Jersey much. So when they swing by it's always nice to see them.

Well with this visit Lex had a question for me, which I was and still am surprised at. She asked if I would be in her wedding. Of course I said yes... there is no way I could say no. I am excited, still a little shocked, but am very honored that she asked me! I just love her....

The wedding is 01-09-2009...so we have a little over a year till the big day.But Lex isn't wasting any time, next Saturday we are going dress shopping.......let fun begin!!!!

Took a Nap...

About 3:30 this morning I finally feel asleep. However I didn't stay a sleep for long. Greg came down stairs around 4:00 and woke me up. He couldn't sleep either! He had been up since 2. As he grabbed a snack from the fridge he says to me..."I'm wide awake, wanna go shopping?" Me being a crazy person I am said "SURE, why not!" So at 5:30 we were out our local Starbucks getting our normal jump starts to our day. Then we head over to Kohls. There wasn't that many people in the store. There wasn't hundreds of people there like I though there would be for Black Friday. It was kinda strange. Greg and I walked around and didn't see anything that we had to have. The only thing I bought was 4 picture frames for our Christmas gifts that we're giving to his parents this year. Wooohooo!!!!!

From Kohls we got gas and headed to Dover to the mall. We walked around Sears and didn't even make it into the mall. We walked out about 15 minutes later! It was crazy. So I headed to the local craft stores in search of my big buy for the day. As I came out of the two stores empty handed, I started to second guess myself on why the hell I was even out. The third store was the charm for me. I found what I was looking for and think I got a pretty good deal too!

As for more shopping today???? I don't think so. In fact on our way home, Greg and I were talking about what we wanted to do this year for Christmas. We usually go WAY overboard for everyone at Christmas. But this year, we just don't feel like there is a need to spend a lot of money. So we are talking about taking the money that we would spend on Christmas and put it to our vacation in April that we would like to go on and get each other a few small things. Who knows...it's early we could change our minds, but we just don't need anything. If we need it...we buy it. I guess as you get older, your prioritizes change. I can't wait until I have a little one of my own and spend all my time and energy on making Christmas special for them. This year, all we really want to do is spend our time with family and friends and enjoy the holidays.

Red Hair

I now have red hair! Yes, I did it! I like it...and will probably love it in the next week or so. It is a big change for me. It's going to take some time to get use to....but I'm so glad I did it!

Pain In lower back

The pain in my lower back is back AGAIN!!! It comes and goes, but mostly it's been a nagging pain for the past 2 weeks or so now. Is my UTI back again? Did it ever really go away? I'm not sure. This pain comes a goes, and seems to get worse when I'm wound up and stressed. So for the next three days I will relax and probably wreck a few more bottles of Pink Truck. Which will be LOVELY!!!!!!!!

Can't Sleep....

It is almost 2 AM and I CAN NOT Sleep! How annoying! I've watched all of Grey's Anatomy, and the movie The Stepmom. Now I'm watching a movie called The Holiday. I am tired, but yet I can't close my eyes and go to sleep. UGH!!!!! Since I can't sleep, I should just go get dress now and head over to the local Kohl's for some shopping at 4AM!!!! Or....I know, I'll leave now and go to the mall that opens at 3AM. Ummm........ I have officially lost my mind! I must get some sleep soon!!! Please GOD let me get some sleep soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11 years Today

11 years ago we said good-bye.
11 years ago you learned how to fly.
11 years ago everyone cried.

It's hard to believe that it has been 11 years since my brothers passing. I visited his grave today and I cried. I cried more today then I think I ever have before. I cried because I could tell I had been the only one to visit him in a while. The grass was starting to cover his stone. So I started to pull the grass away and I apologized. I apologized to Jamie that I didn't have all the tools that Dad usually would bring with him to clean up his area. But I would do the best I could to clean it up... and I cried. Jamie would probably kick my ass for crying the way that I did. I just couldn't help it.

I remember this day 11 years ago so vividly. I recall all the things that happened and even some of the conversations I had with people as if it happened yesterday.

Jamie passed away on November 21, 2006. Almost one week before Thanksgiving. We buried him the day before Thanksgiving that year. It's weird how the calendar works....11 years later the anniversary of his death and the day we buried him land on the same day.

As all of this may sound every sad, I hope this does not bother any of you that I share this with you.

Jamie was my older brother and I miss him dearly. Lord only knows where he and our family would be if he were still alive today. But I do know this, that I'm very glad to call him my brother and I cherish all the memories we had. I just hope that his little sister has made him proud.

Results are in

Talked with the nurse from my doctors office this afternoon. They received the results of Greg's test and the results from my blood work I had done on Wednesday. And the results are:

Greg is fine - no issues with his little guys. Which is wonderful news!

As for me... my test didn't come back as good as they hoped. But the good news is I did ovulate this time around. Which is an improvement from last time. So they are going to double my Clomid dose to 100mg. This will help get my levels up to where they want them to be. Right now I'm at a 3.8 and they would like them to be around 12. So I have a LONG way to go yet. She tried to put me back on Metformin, which I told her I could not take because it makes me sick. So we are going to try another medication, but she is going to talk to the doctor about it and will give me a call next week. Wait there's more...I get to go for a test (forget the name of it) to check to see if my tubes are clear or not. Oh what fun...they are going to make me glow! Yahoo!!!!!!

I finally have the validation I've been waiting a long time for. The problem is with ME! Which I've always known to be the case, I just never had a doctor get to this point with me and work on fixing the issue. F' all those doctors who told me I was just fine.

Lesson learned..listen to that inner voice that tells you something is wrong. It just may be right! Keep changing doctors until you find the one that will work with you, listen and not judge you. You'll be better off.

Waiting on results

Hubby spent some time alone in a room with a little cup two weeks ago. So now we are waiting on the results on his numbers. Should have those results tomorrow or Friday. I took my first round of Clomid. Didn't notice anything different. I've been to the doctors for my check up and everything is normal. Blood work done today to see if the Clomid helped. I'll have those results in about a week. Which should be about the same time my next period will hit. Well that's if I'm not pregnant.
